Remove existing material and unstable soil. Grade and compact the subgrade, then place and compact the specified base.
Set and brace forms. Check slab depth, slopes, and any specified reinforcement, isolation joints, or vapor barrier before the pour.

Work the pour.
Check the delivered mix against the project requirements and coordinate placement with weather and crew capacity.
Place concrete close to its final position, consolidate around forms and reinforcement, and screed to the planned grade.
Bull-float the surface, allow bleed water to disappear, then complete edging, jointing, and the specified broom, smooth, or stamped finish.

Check the finish.
Check surface consistency, edges, transitions, and drainage slopes against the agreed layout.
Complete control joints at the planned locations and appropriate time. Begin the specified curing method promptly and protect the surface from weather and traffic.
Inspect the finished work, address identified issues, and review curing care and project-specific return-to-use timing.
